The man who died from injuries sustained in an accident on the M1 in the early hours of Monday 21st September has been named as Mr Phillip Smythe, 84.

The Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for witnesses to the collision between Mr Smythe's vehicle, a VW Polo, and a police vehicle.  It happened near Junction 10 of the M1 at around 5.00am.
