Witness appeal - Coalisland

The Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for witnesses to an incident which took place in Coalisland early last month.

On 9th June 2011 a male motorist was stopped by police on the Ballynakilly Road, Coalisland at around 3.00pm. Following the stop an altercation took place which resulted in damage to the vehicle and CS spray being used.

A spokesperson for the Office said, "We are looking to establish what happened and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
