The Police Ombudsman's office has appealed for witnesses to an incident involving two cars on the Killinchy Road, between Comber and Killinchy, in June this year.

The incident is alleged to have happened near Lisbane shortly after 1am on Saturday 21 June 2003. It involved a Renault Clio and a Toyota Yaris, both of which were travelling in the direction of Killinchy. Both cars were dark in colour.

The Clio is alleged to have overtaken the Yaris and twice braked hard in front of it, and to have followed the Yaris into a residential driveway where an exchange between the drivers is alleged to have taken place.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Police Ombudsman's office on 028 9082 8699.
