The Police Ombudsman's Office has been informed of a collision between a police car and a white Nissan van which occurred this morning (Tuesday 14 February) at approximately 4.15am.

The police were in pursuit of the vehicle in response to a report of a burglary around 3.50am. The collision occurred on the Grosvenor Road slip of the Westlink.

Investigators from the Office have been at the scene and are monitoring the situation, but as yet the incident is not the subject of investigation.
