This section contains summaries and detailed reports about Police Ombudsman investigations into incidents during ‘the Troubles’ in Northern Ireland (the conflict between 1968 and the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998). The Police Ombudsman's remit for investigating such cases ended on 30 April 2024.
