The Police Ombudsman’s Office has appealed for information about an incident which happened outside the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, in the early hours of Sunday 20 October past.

It involved a struggle between an officer and a man who had been arrested, and happened at around 2.40am close to the traffic lights at the front of the complex.

A spokesman for the Office said: “We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have used their mobile phone to take pictures or record video footage of the incident.”
