Appeal for witnesses to Bangor incident

The Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for witnesses to an alleged altercation between two youths and police officers outside the Bangor Health Centre on the Newtownards Road last month.

The incident happened at around 11.30pm on Thursday December 11 and is understood to have involved two males in their late teens and five police officers from two patrol cars. It occurred as officers were attempting to place handcuffs on the youths, who had previously been travelling in one of the police vehicles.
